The winery

Combining tradition and modernity from The Torcal Mountain Range in Málaga.

In 2007, the fifth and sixth generation Gross, direct descendants of Teodoro Gross Gayen, dreamed of recovering the famous wine legacy of their predecessors and commemorating the Romantic and Industrial Málaga of the 19th century.

To carry out the project, it was necessary to create a winery that was capable of combining tradition and modernity, capable of conceiving new demanding brands and wines adapted to current demand and market, In which each of our creations would be filtered by the experience of past centuries.

This is how Bodega Gross Hermanos was created, raised on high mountains with deep slopes that overlook the sea.

The facility is located in Finca El Respiro, a protected and steep land of 100 hectares of wild oak forests and Mediterranean scrub located in the Sierra del Torcal Mountain Range, declared a Natural Park and in the shadow of the ancient city of Antequera or Antikaria, of Roman foundation, and crossroads between the different Andalusian cities.

The winery is designed exclusively for the production of small volumes of organic premium wines, with the capacity to make different categories of products from the grapes, from reds with high aging capacity, to dry rosés and fruity reds.

The manufacturing of the winery's wines is certified as organic production, not exceeding 5,000 bottles per year.

These have a commercial projection mainly to the Malaga market, and to the export of the most select and limited wines to the international markets of northern Europe and the rest of the world.

The harmony between the traditional and the avant-garde merges between barrel rooms, large fermentation areas, and rooms exclusively for storing bottles, giving integrity to a highly technological and exclusive physical space for the production of quality wines.
